Would not want to be behind him with the stupid top let’s go.

Spring and fall hot is better than summer hot, less cleanup.

Well today it is very easy for me to say that HEAT is the worst!

I rode with some buddies yesterday and was wiped out when I got back home. Today the wife wanted to ride. We rode about 25 miles to our Rolling Thunder monthly chapter meeting. Afterwards to Red Lobster and back home. Just under 60 miles of pretty much all interstate. The weather app said 93 degrees, the bike said 95 degrees. Who cares it was HOT! Too hot to enjoy. You can layer up or wear heated gear in the cool months and enjoy the ride. In the summer you just hit that wall where it is nothing but HOT air. It wipes me out physically.

I agree Razorback. Back talked me into going out this morning, did about 170 miles. It was only 98 with the heat index at 8am when we left, 88% humidity. Last 80 miles was on the way home on the interstate. The dam humidity is what takes it over the top. Im done till October. Just not any fun sweating your *** off. I get enough of that at work

Morning rides here are still comfortable but I try to be back to the house around 11:00. If I leave around 7:30 it's nice. I plan to ride in the morning.

Born and raised in the North East. Favorite time to ride is in the fall, then the spring, then the winter and finally the summer. Hot and humid or Hot and dry drains me too. Given the choice of extremes, I'll take winter riding with heated gear vs the boiling in the heat.

Going to be HOT riding around here for the next few days. Temps in the low/mid 90's and heat index around 110*F.

Let's Ride...
