Hot or Cold Riding
Do you do better riding in hot or cold weather?
I can always put more layers on, but the heat just drains it outta me. |

Neither. I just went from 98-degrees outside Yosemite to 63- in Salinas, CA. For 20-mins I was good at 80-degrees.

I’ll take the cold any day.

The key to hot riding is take that freaking windshield off. I went 8 hours straight last summer in 95 degree high humidity on back roads with no shield. As long as you keep drinking water you are good. Just not enough air flow in that kind of heat with a shield.

I love hot weather, and never ride below 65 degrees. Yea; it can get cold occasionally in Florida, & i like to ride in Just a t-shirt. And, any hot chick that asks me for a ride in cold weather is gonna be wearing too many clothes anyway. And I won't have my spare helmet with me.

I enjoy the desert summer nights. You have everything to yourself. I do my best to get my rest during the hottest hours and work or ride when it is cool.

Hot or cold?
It's Canada, eh? |
I've ridden in temps as high as 100*F+, and as low as 30*F, makes no difference to me.
I did ride in 19*F temps once, damn near froze to death. won't do that again...:icon_brr: |
I can ride comfortably in 30-40 degree weather no problem.
When it’s cold you can layer up, heated gear, grips, etc When it’s balls hot there’s only so much you can do to try and stay cool. I’d rather not have swamp ass after 15 minutes of riding....... |
