I put my phone and wallet in my saddlebag. My thinking is that if I crash, they could come out of my pockets and end up who knows where. But if they're in the saddlebag, hopefully they'll stay with the bike and first responders will be able to get in touch with my wife.

 

That's a good idea.
My phone is my wallet and it's either in a windshield bag or my back pocket. I might put a copy of my D.L. in the saddlebags as a backup plan.

 

I don’t carry a wallet, money clip front pocket. I have a belt clip for the phone or I put it in the cubby on the fairing.

 

I just pick up a hot chick on the side of the road for storage.

 

The phone goes in the right outside pocket of my riding jacket, actually had the pocket deepened a bit to accommodate a Pixel XL. The wallet, in the right rear pocket of my jeans.

Am I doing this all wrong?

Phone goes in my inside jacket pocket where it survived my accident without a scratch and where I had it to call my family.

If it had been in the saddlebags it would have been snatched up along with the bike by the tow truck and taken to the impound lot while I was being taken to the hospital by ambulance.

 

I like that idea, never thought of things flying everywhere

 

Phone is mounted on the bars, everything else goes in my bar bag except my key fob, that stays in my pocket.
