Stupid Apple Question
Stupid question coming from an Android guy. Does anyone know if an iPhone 6 will fit in the batwing cubby? Was thinking about getting an iPhone to keep in bike (2019 SGS) primarily for music applications. I can stream music via bluetooth from my Galaxy, but was hoping the plug and play with the IPhone and Apple Carplay would be better. Ideally I'd like to plug it and leave it, and the cheapest route I can find is straight talk from walmart with the 6 phone. Thanks in advance.

I have a 2019 Limited. I am also an "android guy", but use an iPhone for CarPlay. I bluetooth the iPhone to my Samsung for internet. It doesn't fit (plugged in) in the fairing cubby. I bought a 2 pack USB extension cables and ran them in the bike. When I remove the trunk I store the phone in the saddlebag plugged in under the seat.

I used an I-Pod with 20 something hours of music hooked to ear buds. This has served me well for the past 10 years. Now I have a Cardo Pack Talk Bold and use my Samsung S10 for music. I have 500+ songs on that and shuffle to keep things "fresh". I also installed USB port in the cigarette lighter and charge phone when needed. I find this is one or two less items to carry and worry about. So far i can ride all day and not drain the S10 battery. I do not use the phone for calls or texting while riding. Music only. So this set up works well for me.
