Default Welp...the honeymoon is OVER! That didn’t take long.

Soooo...on my way home from work on Monday and my less than 1 month old 2019 RGS completely shuts off! No power, no lights, no f*cking nothing! Scary as **** driving down a 2 lane county road doin 55+ and suddenly losing power. Call the dealership and my salesman...needless to say I’m beyond furious and they are of no help. Service mgr tells me I should call ly insurance for a tow. Actually ended up calling the HOG member # and they hook me up.

My home dealership calls their sister shop to pick up my bike from my house, but not till Wednesday morning. I finally call them today after not hearing a word from them and my bike is scheduled to be looked at on the 16th. I am by far NOT a happy new HD owner.

Stab the salesman and cancel the check.

Well, that sucks. I hope they discover the issue so you can regain your confidence in the bike.

Did you even give the bike a quick once over?
Sounds like a loose battery connection to me.
Not too hard to check and an easy fix if that's what caused the issue!

Is the bike completely stock?

Yes the bike is completely stock. I did check the battery connections and fuses while waiting on the tow truck. No luck at that point., but when I got home. I checked the oil and that looked ok. Battery connections, good. Move on to the main fuse and bingo...I believe that either the main fuse connector housing is bad, which allows the fuse to become loose...not a feature in my book. I am really interested to see what they find. I hope its something as simple as replacing the main fuse connector housing.

NC. You’re right. Kind of gun-shy to ride it again. Could have been way worse. I had to wait a while for a break in traffic so i could push that big bitch across 2 lanes and into a nearby nearby neighborhood so I could get off the narrow shoulder and away from fast moving traffic.

Well, at least it doesn't sound like anything major. Of course, that doesn't do you any good if the bike is in the shop.

Dang OP that really stinks. Hope it does turn out to be minor and just a one time fluke.

Good luck and keep us posted.

P.S. I would not be happy at all, especially if they kept me waiting like this after just buying a new bike.

Schedule it the 16th? Bet the sure and the hell didn't schedule out 4 days to sell you the bike. I’d be pissed too
