Default Thought it might be a bad TPS...

On my 2010 FXDF I have PCV with autotune. This season I noticed a bucking/surging. Only things modified are slip-ons, Accel coil, and K&N air filter. I was using a fuel map with 13.2 AFR. I had accepted all trims a few times thinking I had reached the best tune possible. I decided to run another autotune session to see if it would clear up the surging. I noticed #2 cylinder hadnt changed any trims and #1 had done some heavy changes. I had at first thought this was a TPS gone south. Now I was wondering what was wrong with the PCV. Upon inspection I found a loose wire on the Autotune module #2 cylinder leads. I reinserted it and tightened all the leads. I then ran another two sessions of autotune. I thought I was headed in the right direction, but even after the third session, although the surging was gone the map was so screwed up that it ran poorly at part throttle. So I loaded a much leaner map having no real AFR adjustments until higher RPM's and throttle opening---and wow--- it runs great. Granted the engine seems more sedate at lower speeds, but as a baseline it's a good start. I can always plug values into lower RPM/Throttle% areas on the table later, I'm just glad my bike is running decent! I hope this might help anyone who has experienced this, and help them diagnose it themselves before they let the dealer loose on it. I read a lot of mumbo jumbo about ECM's being flashed, Injectors,TPS, IAC, and intake manifold leaks. I dont have a Harley scan tool, but I do have two eyes and luckily they found my culprit...

Need some page breaks in there. My 3 week old bike, the wires rubbed on fins, and it would buck at times.

I know I'm long-winded. I had to look up what a page break is. Is there a general rule on how many characters should be on a page? Maybe you could give me a quick example or point me to an article? And which wires do you refer to?

Open any book. Look at the way sentences are written.
Then notice the 'break' between what are called 'paragraphs'.
This makes a book much easier to read.

We were taught this in elementary school.

You really aren't very bright are you?

Google is your friend. Look up "page breaks" then look up, "paragraphs", then, come back and give advise..

ok, line breaks or paragraphs. I know what page break is, I made a mistake. Though I am not a huge fan of them inserted in word docs, would rather do it myself.

The wires from the sensor to the ECM or what connector somewhere. On my bike they rubbed against the fins, and were either grounding out on fins or each other intermittantly.

My point was it is easier to read if you break things up a bit. I don't care if people don't read your posts I was just trying to help.
