Default Power Vision From Fuel Moto

This is intended for those who have bought a pre-programmed PV from Fuel Moto. How reliable would you say their pre-program is? I sent them a list of the performance parts I have installed so they could program my PV beforehand. It's now uploaded into my bike however I haven't noticed a huge difference in the way it rides. Throttle response is a little noticeable but nothing worth mentioning and the backfiring from my exhaust has decreased quite a bit. I guess I was expecting a little more pull than I'm getting. What options can do you guys think I have? Calling Jamie for a better map? Getting it Dyno'd?

Fuelmoto base maps are pretty dang good, but will never give you the same result as a good dyno tune. However for a simple stage 1 and most stage 2s, their maps are more than enough to get your bike running good. For the best results, you should put that powervision to work and run a few autotunes.

It's a tuff call. I went ahead and had mine dyno'd when I did my stage 2. I figured, I want maximum performance, so spend a few more bucks and have everything right.

I didn't think of the autotune. That could possibly work.

Find a good tuner in your area for best results for your specific bike.

my fuel moto base map after cams started good, ran good, i had no popping on decel or anything but i could feel flat spots
they sent me a second map which was worse, started hard, and idled rough, so reinstalled the first one i will say they were more than willing to continue helpling me and may have got it perfect, but i chose to have it dyno'd the results of the dyno were night and day different, runs perfect no flat spots just grab a gear and hold on

Yea mine runs fine but there is still some popping from the exhaust mainly when decelerating at high speeds. I figured that might be normal. But damn. It sounds like dyno might be the way to go. What did that go for, if you don't mind me asking?

I ran autotuned a few different times and it got better and better. Mine runs well enough after that for me!
