Reno and Yuba City Harley Davidson have the same owner. Prices in YC can no doubt be also found in Reno.

Other then spinning wheels checking if the fees are correct at your DMV, if you put a payment on it, its yours. Enjoy it. If I was doing it, I would have known price of fees and NADA of new bike.

Would have tried to get some happy % off. Also, get the 1000 check free since Harley is just covering their butt just in case they missed something putting it together. I am not paying them for that. Never have and never will.

Probably why last two bikes have been used. . However, it's a buyer's market now.

Default OTD Price

If YOU like the bike and are ok with the
price buy it . You will get a lot of replies saying, you should have bought this or that.
Your trying to make YOU happy not me or him or her.. And if you do buy it, Stop price
shopping around cause there will always
be a different bike somewhere less expensive. Your paying for and Your riding it.
have fun and be safe.

When I got there, however, I was told that the iron was sold. So they offered me 500 dollars off a new 2019 model which came out as 10,079 usd without the engine guard I installed. I live in California so there was a crazy 870 usd sales tax. Freight was 360 usd, license fee was 235 usd, documentation fee was 85 usd, and the cash price of the motorcycle is 8579 USD. I so far deposited 5k. Thank you and I appreciate any replies given.
IMHO, buying a new Sportster is nuts. So many out there on the used market for cheap.

But the deal is done. No point in worrying about it now.

What's left to say? Congratulations on the new bike, hope you enjoy it, and go ride the wheels off of it!

Whatever we say, it's not likely to make you feel all warm and fuzzy after the fact.
Learn to love it. You're into it now.

As long as you are happy with the deal that's all that matters. Enjoy the bike, but as a beginner take it easy for a while. Even though it's an 883 it still got torque down low and first time riders of Harleys get caught off guard.

I would ask for a gift card and 1st service free if not too late.

If too late, next time keep it in mind. There's ridiculous markup on helmets and gear.. they can give you a gift card for 500 when it really only costs them like a buck fifty or whatever.

Yep, I sense a bit of buyer remorse if he's asking for opinions after he bought it.
Sometimes getting it off your chest and telling the story to others makes you feel better.
Any big ticket purchase is emotional and makes you second guess your decision.
Enjoy the bike lamsauce.

Ok got it. And according to @RIPSAW . So I will definitely be planning to ask for the 1k service to be free. My question is how should I go about doing so. I don't want to come across as not honoring my deal or trying to be pushy, not that I care what they think, but I think having a good relationship with the dealership is important for the future. So what would you recommend me say. Something like: Could you guys maybe please cover the 1k service fee? Ill try to write some good reviews online for you.

Haha Thanks again.
