Default Kendon Trailer

Anyone have a Kendon Single Haul trailer? They track well with an Ultra Limited loaded? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thinking of getting a used one available locally.

Great idea, but very difficult to load, and unload by yourself. I used one once. Tracked OK, but never again.

difficulty in loading depends on whether it is the ride up version or the walk up. I have a dual ride up, and it is pretty easy to load. tracks great, hardly even know it is there.

I've got the single track and before I used it I had a metal shop install a post with a 800# limit hand winch on top of the post. The wife would crank the bike up the rail while I walk along side to steady the bike. Unloading, reverse the procedure. Have not loaded a bagger on it yet.

no, I don't. but I can tell you that 2 roadglides would fit side by side, with about 4 inches between the tips of the handlebars. being in the chocks, and with the tie down straps, they would never come close to hitting each other.

It tracked fine. Mine just started rusting underneath so bad. I used it to travel south from Seattle in the winter. Sold it after two years. Hope they solved the undercoat issue.

I had a single ride up Kendon. Excellent trailer, easy too load once you did it a few times, pulled effortlessly behind a small suv (Chevy equinox). Only drawback was on one trip down and back too the Dragon it rained most of the trip, the bike was filthy with road grime from the trucks on the highway. It was worse then if I was riding the bike, probably because it was getting hit with all the stuff getting kicked up from the tow vehicle.

I had the walkup version and it was not fun. Converted it to the wider ride up version and it is great. Cant even feel it behind the suv.

I had the singlw rail Kendon. I made some wood bolt on ramps to guide my feet while riding on to load. Also had the spare tire bolted on underneatb. It tracked ok at speed, but overall was a piece of crap. Used it for several seasons, then on the way home from Daytona the rear fender with license plate broke off and flew down the freeway never to be seen again. Didn't notice til the next rest stop -- hope that fender on the freeway didn't mess any other vehicles up when they hit it. I bought a new fenddor from Kendon and traded the Kendon in on a Baxter trailer at Daytona the next year. Now the Baxter -- that's a quality trailer. Both the Kendon and Baxter can be stored on end in front of my car in the garage -- the big difference is I would never trust a Kendon again -- just too lightweight and cheaply made fir my taste.
