Dyna 2007 Plug gaskets
Hi all....new to this forum and Harley's...came across a Dyna Superglide in immaculate condition and bought it thinking I would flip it...but fell in love with it instead. Want to change all the oils...does anyone know if the o ring gaskets on the oil drain plug, transmission plug and primary plug the same size?

...yes, they should be. I've changed the oil and have re-used the o-ring. Look very closely for cuts or splits. Not recommended but I've done it with success. Lowe's, Home Depot & Menrad's have that exact same size o-ring for a pack of ten that Harley charges you for "one" of them. Take the used o-ring & match it up. I even think I've gotten them at Ace Hardware too. It's a common size, nothing oddball.

You can get a gasket kit at the harley dealer that will have the 3 o-rings for the drain plugs are well as the derby cover gasket. I'm sure someone will say I'm getting raped changing all the gaskets each time and buying them from harley but hey its a couple bucks for the kit who cares. And yes they are the same size for all 3 plugs
