It's your bike Denny..looks good and I'll bet it sounds good too. Ain't none of my business what you do to it or where you ride it ….be safe friend !!!
Thanks @Dirty Harry , Nice to hear some one Normal .
All of you complaining and saying water and dirt will get into the engine..
Danny does not ride in bad weather... jeez... storm clouds run from him. They would be ashamed to rain on that bike..
Bike looks great-👍
BTW-Been riding on the street for a decade and a half with velocity stacks, no filter, and bike rips. About five or six years ago motor was torn down and rebuilt and cylinders looked pretty good after about 30k hard miles. Just needed a rehoning.......and bike today is running as strong as ever.
I don’t ride in sand storms or rain storms.....for full disclosure. If you are touring and expect hard core weather-run your full filter. Simple.
As far as pant legs, covering the stack, etc......set your seating position correctly to your controls and take that out of the equation-either by reshaping, moving your seat foam back to lengthen leg position or with your controls. Knees and legs should go well under the stack and be a non issue.
Either you know and have experience of what you are actually talking about, or you don’t.
