DOT carbon fiber half.

 

My main helmet is a Shoei RF1200 full face with a Sena Bluetooth unit paired to my phone. Also have a Shoei open face and a Skid Lid half helmet.

 

I find full face helmets more comfortable and I don’t have to worry about June bugs hitting me in the face.

 

For summer

For cold, windy, rainy... shitty weather. Most times if local I don’t wear any... bc I don’t have to.

Pit Boss - most all of the time
Qualifier - cold weather and rain

 

I like their helmets and their price. My wife and I both have one. They're comfortable. They look great. And available on-line as well as

Another Shoei Neotec II user here.

 

I bought a Shoei Neotec II a couple weeks ago. It's a very nice helmet but I wish I bought something a bit cheaper as I'm sure the comms system thing must bump the price of these helmets up...and I don't plan on putting in whatever system the helmet was designed for.
