A 2016 Road Glide with 15k+ miles on it. I bought a stock exhaust pull-off on flea bay. I was surprised how easily everything came apart. No stuck bolts or clamps.

It’s definitely louder. Not obnoxious but I blipped it a couple times in a parking garage and liked it. Going down the road I thought I could actually feel the exhaust pulses but that was probably more my imagination. I can’t say it’s got more power but it certainly doesn’t run poorer.

Overall I’m glad I swapped this de-catted exhaust on. Based on the tone I doubt I’ll be looking to change the muffs. Just wondering about others similar experiences.

 

Are you using the stock mufflers? Curious how loud it is with no cat and stock slip ons.

 

Stock mufflers went back on. I could see a little light through them which made me think they’re not heavily baffled.

As to loudness, they’re a little louder but nothing that would get me a ticket.

 

And it will be cooler on your leg.
