I've seen those rechargeable compressors. Does anybody have any personal experience with them?

Did you say best or cheapest? Made in USA or China? Here's the "best" and it happens to be USA made!

it'll even handle a car tire!

I have the AirHawk that can run off the rechargeable battery or a power outlet (cigarette lighter). It's not so big it takes up too much room to pack

The Rocky Creek Motopressor is about the smallest you will find and works really well.

+1 on the Rocky Creek Motopressor. Bought one from Amazon based on recommendation from a HDF member in another thread here a few months ago.
