O'Reilly's sells a battery that is made by the same company that makes Harleys batteries. It's about $25 cheaper. If a battery makes it to 5 years I just replace it proactively
5 years. Truck, car, bike, don't matter to me. Far as brand on the bike battery? Whatever my indy has in stock is good for me. I keep mine on tender when it's not going anywhere more than a week. 5 year mark I can start notice a different in the cranking. normal first crank, kind of a slow down, then normal till it starts. I go longer than 5 years? Can actually notice a difference in the sound of the fuel pump when it's priming.
5 years, peace of mind if you ask me.

Funny, I just replaced the battery in my 2012 Super Glide today. Deka makes Harley-Davidson batteries and that is what I replaced mine with, Deka, I mean. I bought a Napa Legend Premium ETX20L ( made by Deka) for $125. Exact battery as the Harley ones, only $50 cheaper. 310cca.
Your Street Glide would take a ETX30L.

I always use the Harley battery. Any other battery I have seen does not have the posts flush with the battery case like the Harley ones do. The after market batteries (that I have seen anyways) you have to install spacers between the battery post and the cable. Those spacers seem to always loosen up after a while causing hard starting and could cause a short IMO.

I've been using the Batteries Plus Duracel Ultra battery (400 CCA $179) for the last three bikes with no problems. On my 2018 RG, I used a Yuasa GYZ32HL with 500 CCA and it seems to crank and start faster. I've used Yuasa batteries on my older Shovelhead bikes and had them last 5-6 years with no problems. Even if it cost a little more, I think the Yuasa battery with 500 CCA is the better option.
Summit Racing has the Yuasa for $149.99 with free shipping.
Still using the battery I bought in 2014 from the Harley Dealership on my Evo. Average about 6,000+ miles per year. My bike sits in an unheated garage about 4-5 months per year and is always hooked up to a tender after every ride.
