DynoJet Control - I have zero experience with motorcycle programmers like this. My bike, a 2002 Softtail Fatboy with EFI came with this controller under the seat, Previous owner knows nothing about it. Does anyone know much about it or have by chance any instructions for it? I tried some searching and did not come up with anything, Their website was not worth a poop, other than to buy stuff. Figured some here probably have the same unit or experience with them, Adding this - there is a red plug or button or something under the black tape on the top. Figure that is probably for a cable that needs to go to a laptop computer to do programming or anything?
Thanks. Not sure why the picture came out so big? I reduced it's size.
Yeah - that was where I started - really nothing that was helpful for explaining what I need or even have. They did not have any that were the same in appearance as the one I have also. It also looks like you have to buy the software to do anything if you do not have it. Like a one-time - one-owner deal?

Both are excellent ideas. I did not even think of U-tube. I did think about the customer support the site shows - just didn't do anything with it.
I kind of wish I didn't even have it on the bike - but the HD shop mechanic said it was one of the best running FB's he has seen - so I figured what the hell - it must be dialed it pretty good. Scard to try and take it out of the system also! Not a big techy guy... Most all my bikes have been carbs, which I am really good with - now I have three EFI bikes...Progress?????
It's an old Power Commander; I still have one in a bike and it still works. Dynojet had a lot of maps which you could download into your laptop. Then you could plug your laptop into the unit and install the map.
I believe if you correspond with Dynojet, they will still provide you with the maps. At least they did for me some time ago.
