But, you gotta love a good going out of marriage sale.
True, I've had some friends pick up some seriously nice sets of golf clubs that very same way!

I have a friend who took a can of spray paint to her husband’s bike after she found out he was cheating on her. She wrote all kinds of foul little sayings all over his bike. [:@]

Now that's a custom paint job most folks could do without!

2006 and hadn't hit the 1k mile mark?
Pfft! The guy's probably not gonna miss the bike.
He was probably spending all his time with the other woman cuz he sure wasn't riding the Harley.

Hope his new OL is smarter than his wife.
She wasn't happy getting screwed by her unfaithful hubby, she went and screwed herself too.
Screwed herself out of a few grand with the $10K price.

Good for your buddy there TXHARLEYGUY.
I'm sure he'll put a few more miles onthatmotorcycle than that bozo did.

What guy in his right mind would put his motorcycle title in his wife's name? Unless she paid for it, and that was the only way he could get one.

I've got a friend in Phoenix, who called me yesterday, saying he's heading north in a couple of weeks. He and his OL are splitting up, and he said he needs a place to stay,( I knew this was coming, and offered spare b/room),and will be riding his '07 RK with whatever he can tie on it. The problem is,....it's in her name. She talked him into selling his old FLHT, and getting a new bike, but since he was unemployed at the time, she bought it in her name.
I think there's trouble coming, she isn't the timid type, and probably willbe looking for "her" bike. [&o]

makes me wonder how it was titled? or if she forged hub's name. In Illinois, during the property settlement phase of the divorce, she'd be responsible for the actual value of the scoot. Guys used to "sell" their stuff for a dollar to a trusted friend. You have your 63 split window vette, you sell to your buddy prior to the divorce for a dollar. Judge's ain't as dumb as they look, they know all the tricks people try to avoid splitting property accurately...not that it can't be done...but don't think she'll get away with it entirely.

If the statewhere this woman lives is acommunity property state and where he bought the bike, then the bike is still half her husbands no matter who's name is on the clear titleunless it is written up in the divorce decree giving her solepossession. In fact everything pretty much belongs to both of them from property like the house, 401K retirement accounts, bank accounts, vehicles including motorcycles and just about everything else. It all has to be written up in the divorce decree about how everything is to be divided among them. Gee, I wonder why I know so much about this subject.
