And don't worry about that award, it appears I "won it" hands down (or is that "palms up"?)

Sound of the pipes is definitely music to my ears.
First time I rode a Harely I hated the vibration.
Now, I'd probably fall asleep at a stop-light without it!
The sound and feel of a Harley islike no other vehicle on the road...and it's all good.

RE: The sound
Have always loved the sound of machinery working, my Evo definitely provides plenty of that, kinda like the Nirobi trio on meth. With my full face helmet it serenades me like a maxed out subwoofer. Music to my ears either way!

Those who don't ride will never understand. But each and every time I fire up my Harley is darn near like the first time. The same sense of anticipation leading up to, coupled with a bit of mild adreneline, and capped off with the calming effect eminating from the rumble of the v-twin in concert with the Vance & Hines. Yep, I could fire up my bike every day, 20 times a day and it'd still give me the same rush each and every time.

TX guy, I am pretty much like that. If I go a day without riding mine I get withdrawal. I need a pipe fix, even if it's just cruising around the neighborhood.
newtsqueensy (where do you guys get these long handles?), just ask your question. Someone will answer it.

PS: If your Harley doesn't vibrate, it's dead.
