I will say that along with the moderate amount of benign chit-chat and grandstanding that goes on, there is a lot of really good knowledge and help generously given here. Particularly with the older bikes, Evos and Shovelheads. If you hang around for a while you will recognize the good guys, the real deals, those who know of what they speak. I’ve visited a few other forums, and this one seems to be the most active and deep. This forum is really a great resource if you are working on your bike.
Sadly google search has turned into horrdenous dogshit that's worth very little these days unless you're basically typing in the website along with your query.

DuckDuckGo is a newer search engine that is gaining popularity.
It's getting just as bought out as the rest of them, you are "guided" and even censored depending on what browser you are using anymore. The limitless information web was bought off long ago.
Do a google search for something you want to buy and Amazon/Ebay will dominate the results. Then they just keep showing up in the results over and over. I still do google searches but I also have duck duck go and the differences in results are a little scary.
Not sure if it's been mentioned yet but HarleyTechTalk - Index is a good one. It's a knowledgeable, tight-knit group of people with some reputable industry experts that chime in every once in a while. That group tends to be more mature and laid back compared to some of the larger forums like this one where folks look for any chance to be snarky and sarcastic.
