The last bike I'll ever buy

I turn 60 on this Thursday (13 Nov) and I just had the sobering thought that my current bike (2020 FLHTK) is likely to be the last bike I'll lever buy. It has all the power I need and RDRS rider aids so I can't see any reason on the horizon to upgrade as this one's a keeper!
It should see me comfortably into retirement as long as I don't have any accidents or catastrophic failures - knock on wood.

Congrats to you for being content with what you have!

Thanks. There are a couple of mods I want to make to improve comfort - adding a rider's backrest and 14 inch bars - but overall I am quite content with the bike.

I said I was done with this one about $2000 ago, now I’m looking at 2025’s. It’s a sickness I tell you.

I told myself "this is the last bike I'm going to buy" about 12 motorcycles ago! LOL

I know what you mean. To make it mine I want to get custom dynamics lower fairing LEDs sometime - no hurry though - as I said this one's a keeper and I can wait until the comfort mods are completed before getting them. They are a relatively low priority - but I'd like to get them sometime.

Yep. I sold one in 2022 and said I was done at age 66.

That was three bikes ago, and if HD introduces anything I actually like in January there will be another.

I'm 78, I've probably bought 7 or 8 bikes since I was 60; you are way too young to say you are done:)

I think you are making a good choice.
