RE: BEST ENGINE UPGRADE FOR ELECTRA GLIDE 88"
First ask yourself if you want horsepower or useable torque.
Then read all of this years American Rider magazines--specifically Joe Minton's article on building a 95" out of an 88 in the Feb issue.

What do you have on the bike now? Were it me, I would do a 98" bolt in kit, pipes, cams and be done with it.

The bottom line depends on how much torque you are looking for.I believe you can go all the way to 131ci in a stock frame. My 124" RK is an absolute wonderful combination. It sounds good, looks stock, and you do not feel your passenger or cargo.Have fun working up your plan.

I would like to know what kind of set up you have if you have the rest of bike stock or what? What kind of mileage do you get, cost, etc.
I was thinking of going to a 113" but the price difference to the 124" didn't seem like much so I figured why not go 124". What do you think? Thanks for the advice!
