camcorder mount

Hi, I have a question? Someone wrote in a few weeks back and was asking about camcorder mounts. And someone wrote back and said they use a ram-mount product and they had a picture of it on there bike. It looked like it was mounted were the mirror went.So my question is, what camera mount shouldI get or what part # is it? I will be putting iton an electra glide. Thanks for your help.

Bub,

Ram do a whole series of mounts (mirror, bars, etc). I don't know which one will suit you best. The attached links are fortheir US & UK web sites.

I like that RAM Mount products, I have a Garmin Nuvi I want to use, they have one for it. However I have never wired anything on the bike and would like instructions or recommendations for the Fat Bob.I assume you run the wires to the fuse box. There maybe a post on the HDforums site, I will search. If you guys have any suggestions it is much appreciated.
Thanks..

GMAN, I like your cockpit!

Check out Powerlet for connectors, etc... I'm going to be buying their Zumo connector for use with my Zumo. Right now I have the removable cradle wired directly to the battery with the supplied fused harness.

Cheers!

I like the products, I am not sure I like connecting directly to the battery terminal, I will call them on Monday. I would like to connect to the fuse box if possible.
Thanks Clammy

PS: Nice Guitars, I have a 78 Tele, 90 Ernie Ball Music Man and various dobro & accoustics.
