Default flhx rear wiring harness question

I am adding a king tour pack to my 07 street glide and figured out that the lower fender light is plugged into the wiring harness where the tour pack lights are suppose to go. Any suggestions on adding another plug for the lower fender light so I can have break lights on my king pack? I know I can wire it into the tail light but I want it to be professional not some junky splice.

Default RE: flhx rear wiring harness question

I was just messing with the tourpak wiring on my Ultra last evening. The wiring going into the tourpak does not come from the 8 place connector on top of the rear fender (under the seat), but is a separate harness running along the top left side of the frame and enters the tourpak at the left front corner. I'm not sure where exactly it comes from, but if you have the service manual and parts manual, you should be able to look at the wiring diagram and figure out what harness and conectors you can buy to replicate the wiring inside the tourpak

yep that is where they plugged the fender light. I took it out and plugged it into the tour pac and all the lights worked like they are suppose to,,,, unless i am misunderstanding. I will look at my manual but was quite sure that was it,,, thanks,,,, i will look again.
