Where do you keep registration papers??

Where do you keep registration papers??
I know there's got to be a better idea than just throwing my important papers (registration, insurance, etc) in my saddle bag. I've been using the original dealer folder and its starting to look pretty tattered. I've seen things like "stash tubes".......so I'm wondering what some of you do?

I keep mine in the old zip lock in my fork bag. I have thought about one of those tubes but couldn't really justify spending the money for what it does.

I have the "soft liners" from an accessory company in my saddlebags. There is a little velcro pouch in the left bag that I keep my papers in.

I just keep mine in my wallet. In my state they are small and fold up easily to fit. Since no one rides my bike but me I don't really need to worry about the papers being with the bike. But....It would be nice to have a better place for the papers. If anyone has one of those tubes or some other method, please post some pics so we can see how it looks. Anyone ever tried one of those "safe's" that bolt behind the license plate? Are they waterprooof?

I also use a zip-lock bag and leave it in the saddle bag but just got an idea. Why not velcro it to the lid of the saddle bag, using a flat leather or plastic envelope? that way it will be secure and retain its shape. [sm=goodidea.gif]
