Oldest year harley you ever road
Mine was a 1941 knucklehead heel toe clutch, suicide shift ,with ape hangers was my older brothers he road it from west coast to ohio,1980 showed up at my folks with four of his bros
they all had older bikes .there was a total of 73 of them that road together out west. they all had a tattoo "family"on there forearm showed up with a fifty seven chevy wagon loaded with bike parts . man that 41 knucklehead was sure fun to ride.

1945, 45 cu in. Was a war bike OD in color. The picture is me sitting with my Dad on his 1939 80. I was 1 year old at the time (1950). Dad was a mechanic back then.We just went to Kersting's museum just north of where I live. Jim Kersting has a nice bunch fo bikes that he's bought and rebuilt. Dad who is 85 now, spent a little over 2 hours looking and telling about the times he and his brothers had on the old bikes and showing me a lot of things that they did just to ride.

1941 Indian four cylinder, runs like a sewing machine. Had it up to 70mph on the freeway one day with a lot to gobut let off given the age. Sold it about 15 yrs ago, it can be found hanging in a bar called Eddie Rickenbackersup in San Francisco today.
