I wear mine down to about 40 degrees. I like the protection, that extra layer of skin you know. Below 40 I usually have my FXRG suit on. Works better all over.

i did'nt know that wearing chaps was a fashion statment .i thought wearing them was for the cold we all know who been doing this for a few years know you try and wear them in the heat you are going to cook big time ya if the ladies want to wear them with there thongs thats fine but they are still hot just wear the thong and for the people who gets all rigg up in there learther to go to the bike shop give me a break.
I wear mine went the temp gets below 60 degrees or so. They are just too hot in the summer time for me, but they are great on those cool/cold days. With chaps, heavy jacket, gloves, and full face helmet I will ride until the temp drops into the mid 30's and I stay pretty comfortable. They definately extend the riding season for me.

They are called Leg Leathers. They make your boots look like they come up to your knees. Very comfortable and easy on and off. When the colder weather starts, I keep them in my saddle bag until needed (below 50 usually).
