My question is this. When riding with a solo seat what do you do with the ugly mount/nut/clip in the rear fender that secures the 2up seat? This looks like crap and sticks out like a sore thumb. I dont want to have to reinstall the clip everytime I want to ride 2 up. So lets hear some ideas.

 

They make a plastic cap that looks ok to put on there.

If you are going to run just a solo all the time,it should be a fix that means something to you.An emblem maybe?Good luck.

 

I use a motherwell luggage rack, see sig pic. Or some guys have a leather Bib, they look really nice. Either way you are useing both the mounting points.

 

I just put the screw back in it. looks okay to me, I'm sure there's better alternatives.

 

I had a chrome spike on mine when I had the hole in my fender. Got it from a local shop here in SoCal..............

There should be a plug in the bottom of the pillion provided by HD. That's where mine is. I take the seat off, use the plug and rock and roll. Stick the plug back in the seat when I put it back on.

 

Myself, like BRRider, I use that bolt to hold down my Motherwell rack - looks sweet!
