Colorado Riders: Need Advice
We are taking a trip to Vegas later this month from Ft. Worth, Texas. We are now planning to make a 3 day return trip up through Utah and Colorado in order to really get into the best scenery we can.
Our plan thus far is to ride north through Zion National Park, then cut North East to Montrose, than East through the mountains on 50 all the way into Kansas before cutting back South to Texas.
We have been looking at the weather reports which show temps from the 60's to the 20's. We dont mind riding through a bit of cold weather, but if a large portion of the trip keeps us in 40 or below weather it wont be much fun.
We are hoping that some of you from the area can give us a real idea of the riding conditions and what kind of weather we will face. We would also love any suggestions for route advice. We want to find the best mix of beautiful scenery and tolerable weather.
