Default Hanging Guardian Bell

I was given a guardian bell as a gift and want to hang it on my FXSTC today. I was wondering what is best to use to secure it to my bike. It came with a leather type string and I was wondering if that will work or what do others use? Thanks

I have seen the leather used most of the time. Or you could use some kind of banding wire. It may rust a bit, but its your choice.

I've used a small plastic wire tie and then clipped the excess off instead of the leather string. I also kept it a little loose so to leave it swing room......

I used nylon cord as a back up to the leather. I hung my bell from the bottom of my floorboard but it kept dragging the ground in tight curves. I moved it higher up on the bike.

I also went with a zip-tie instead of the leather string.

String two small key rings together. Loop one to the bike, one to the bell. Never will rust or come off.

For a 'normal' sized bell, just use key rings as posted. They work great, do not rust and do not break. If you have a "large" bell , then use a "large" leather tie. (See pic) http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/g...r/PICT0950.jpg
