A very Cavalier intent. Very poor judgement in execution. But I would not expect someone in the midst of a stroke to have good judgement. It is up to those around them to realize something is wrong. From the post I gather that she is alright. I hope the same for him.

My father's had an appendicitis, had an attack, rupture, whatever drove his truck three hours back to work before going to a hospital. He was like I couldn't just pull up to a hospital in a semi or leave it along the side of the road. Oh yes you could.

You expect rational thought from someone having a stroke? At least he was trying to think. I have several relatives that have had strokes. One was onhis flt-roof barn and decided he better get down before he got hurt. He diedof complications from the fall off the ladder.
