Default Viking Bags or Other Hard Bags?

Has anyone had any experience with Viking Bags ?http://www.vikingbags.com/ The pricesseem pretty reasonable. I'm interested in the hard bags. Does anybody have these ? If not can you recommend another company for hard bags or leather covered hard bags for a 2003 Fatboy ? Thanks.

Here they are on fley-bay for a lot less money, he has a couple of different styles as well. I have some of these that I paid about $90.00 about a year ago, they are O.k. for the money, they dont leak or anything but are just a tad on the flimsy side. I used the E-Z brackets to mount mine which cost more than the bags but they come off in a jiffy and you can't even see the mounting hardware unless you know what your looking for. Also the bagswere already painted black and the finish looked good. Hope this helps. Ride safe.

Thanks Dave. It does help. I'm looking at them for a buddy of mine. I'll tell him what you said and show him the ones on ebay and let him decide. Ride Safe.

I've been looking at the Tsukayu "Strong" bags, which look great and have a leather-covered option. They seem to be well made, they're roomy, and are carpet lined. But they're $600 for the leather-covered ones, which is hard to swallow, particularly considering I also want to use E-Z brackets, a further investment. Maybe I should just order these instead.

Those strong bags do seem to be well made, but for the money you can find those leather look hard bags by Harley which a defiantly nice bags, the only reason to go with these are totally money related, $115 for bags and $110 for E-Z brackets $225 Vs.$710, I hate to say it but Ma-Ma made sense about this purchase and everybody knows that whens ma-ma's happy, everybody's happy. Heres a pic of them on the bike. check out the trike fender in front of me. It was cool.

I recently got a pair of the leather covered Viking bags for my Fat Boy Lo. Quality is excellent and with the quick disconnect mount they're very easy on and off.

I had Boss Leather covered hard bags on my Dyna. Really liked the look. Quick disconnect mounting system and lockable.

have a pair on the low rider, not bad for the price, customer service sucks though. used the easy brackets from great bike gear, they are quick to remove. the hardware viking sends you is good only for your scrap pile.
