Default HOG patches - Help!

being a new Harley owner, I'm also automatically a HOG member...well..they sent me a 2005 and 2006 packet..both have HOG patches. So here's the question (and please don't make fun of me ) Any suggestions on how to put these things on a leather jacket/vest? I mean, do you guys actually sew these things on? If so, I'm in trouble cause my sewing skills are right up there with my ballet skills!
Thanks!

Todd

Take them to a seamstress. I have all my patches professionally sewn on so they look good.

Ya, what Terry said.

There are a couple of places in my town that does it. The better ones glue the patch then sew it.

You can also find people setup at most rallys and the larger events.

What you can't sew or dance ballet ? OK mister back to Male Pair Ice skating for you. And while your at Ice Skating take your vest to your local talior shop and have them sewn on cause last time I tried to sew ended up in the ER.

there's an elderly woman who does tailoring in the local dry cleaners. Can sew it on in two minutes. They are from Korea and I gave her son an extra denim vest I had as a gift. Although it wasnt my intention, now all my patches get sewn on for free! As Earl says, must be good karma.

I like the idea of sewing the patches on a vest rather than right on the leather jacket - Todd - there is a guy in Raritan Boro right off 206, Gino the tailer - If he can't do it he will know where to send ya

Thanks for the replies. I guess I'm going to have to have it done professionally. I just wasn't sure if that was what needed to be done, or if they were just ironed on...like I said...I don't know much about the subject.
Thanks again guys!

One of my wife's friends sews them on for me. However, I did see a quick taylor like place in the mall. Some place like that may do it also.

If you have a shoe repair shop they will sew them on too.
