Default How do you carry your EZ pass?

I'm looking for ideas, since I don't want to keep pulling it out of my pocket.

Have you tried it to see if it will still read it while in your pocket?? Here in Oklahoma, we have a "PikePass". The system here will read it even in the glovebox. Also, if like Oklahoma, as long as your license plate is registered with the EZ Pass folks, you shouldn't have a problem even if you leave it at home. They take a photo of every vehicle that doesn't have the pass, then compare the license to their records. On file, no ticket. Not on file, ticket mailed.

There are several other threads on this topic also. Search for "EZ Pass".

mine works if I put it inside my saddlebag lid-hard bag- facing up. or inside my windshiled pouch, and yes you can just leave it in you pocket also

my NY ez-pass wont read in the saddlebag , or in my jacket pocket for that matter, every time i go thru a toll i have to take it out of my pocket and wave it around, its a real pain in the a$$, they should up the power on the mc ones a bit. i think im just gonna paint it black and stick it on the windshield.

I just have my OL lean back and cover the license tag with her hands. Cheaper than a Pike Pass and no unwanted mail.

LOL You need a license plate frame off a Nightster. Just reach back with your leg and kick. It'll fold toward the bike.

Have my sun-pass on the inside of my shorty windshield, I used a gloss enamel spray paint on the sun-pass after I ruffed it up some with very low grit sandpaper, than I put it on the right inside corner of my shorty and it blends in with my windshield pouches..Kinda looks like a i-pod without the menu screen and it works well..

Haven't had any probs with it coming loose or the transponder reading it..My shorty is gloss black so it blends very well...
Just a thought.........

I actually have come up with a design that a friend (CNC operator) is working on that will provide a chrome mounting bracket that puts it out of the way and generally out of view. I've used a prototype for the past 2 years without any major issues. Of course, we haven't moved forward very quickly.

I just stick'FasTrak' in the glove box of my RG, and it works just fine.

I had a FasTrak that I had to put on the dash under my Windshield. It never worked very reliably, no matter where I put it. One night, it fell off and I lost it. The replacement works great. The old one was junk, evidently, and since I dropped it on I-80, it's probably in many pieces and works just as well.
