O2 sensor connection help?
Hey All,
I noticed that my rear O2 sensor connector on my rear pipe was hanging down. I couldn't immediately see were it is connected to so I pulled the service manual. From the service manual it appeared to be an easy fix, so I pulled the seat and the battery and when pulling the dangling line back up into the battery cavity it became apparent that what it is supposed to connect to is not happening.-(see pics below).
15,000 miles ago I had a Frankenstein trike kit added and shorty pipes. Obviously the O2 sensor would have been removed from the old pipes but I don't see why the connection in the battery compartment would have been altered.
The bike has always ran great without this connected so the questions are:

- Is it safe to keep running as is now that the dangling connector has been secured.
- These are definitely the correct connectors that are supposed to fit, how can they possibly not match.
- Am I losing my freaking mind?

Yes, I did have a power commander on for awhile. Now I have the Harley 110 flash. Thanks for the reply.
