Default 06 Night Train misfiring (one cylinder)

My friend has a&nbsp\\;06 Night Train with less than 2,000 miles on it.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;The bike is actually his Son bike who is in Iraq.&nbsp\\; His Dad is riding it some and customizing it for when he gets back in July.&nbsp\\; All the sudden it started running on&nbsp\\;one cylinder and the check engine light came on, this happened after ridding about a hundred miles.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;Then it started running OK for a while and then it did it again a couple of more times during the next 50 miles.

Since we had just gotten gas, we tried draining the gas, changed the plugs and checked everything over.&nbsp\\;All seemed OK and on the next ride it did it again.&nbsp\\;We checked the&nbsp\\;DTCs (diag trouble codes) and had the 3 codes below in order.
P00265 - Battery voltage low
P1355 - Rear ignition coil high/shorted
P1352 - Front ignition coil high/shorted

We then re-checked&nbsp\\;all the connections, plug wires&nbsp\\;and looked over the coil connections and saw nothing.&nbsp\\;The battery light did come on one time for a couple of seconds, but the bike starts fine and lights are bright even if it is not running.&nbsp\\;We then cleared the codes and took it on a test ride.&nbsp\\;Again 3 times in&nbsp\\;a 20 mile ride it began running on one cylinder&nbsp\\;again.&nbsp\\;The check engine light came on and it started running on one cylinder.&nbsp\\;This seems to happen just after&nbsp\\;acccellerating and only lasts a little while, after he slowed down it cleared up in less than a minute.&nbsp\\;The light goes off and it runs OK again.
We checked the DTC codes and had the 3 codes belowin order.
P1355 - Rear ignition coil high/shorted
P1352 - Front ignition coil high/shorted
P00265 - Battery voltage low

One time this happened well before it was warmed up. I&nbsp\\;would think it would be heat related or more consistant if the coil was bad.&nbsp\\; The only engine related mod is a set of short pipes.&nbsp\\; Anyone have any idea on this?
&nbsp\\;
Thanks

Just a guess.Low voltage, maybe loose battery cables.

We did check the battery cables, fuses&nbsp\\;and connections as well, they all appear to be fine.&nbsp\\; Since the light was bright and the motor starts evey time we did not put a volt meter on it, but maybe it could have a&nbsp\\;cell going bad.&nbsp\\; After thinking about it the second day he had not re-connected the battery tender, so this could be why it did it quicker.&nbsp\\; I am going to check the voltage with a meter to make sure this weekend.&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
Thanks!
