Default Red Wing 969 boots thoughts

I like the look of the Red Wing 969 boots, doesanybody have a pair, and if so, how comfortable are they for walking around in-my HD boots are nice to ride in, but kill the feet after walking 15 minutes-thoughts?

If you want safety the boots should lace up or you might get them ripped off in a crash. They are part of your protective gear. Just my $.02.

I tried these boots about 2 years ago.&nbsp\\;I just never could get them broken in. They look good but they&nbsp\\;killed my feet. I've been wearing black Justin ropers for years and though I've tried others now and then, I've never found any boots that are more comfortable. Hell, I wear them all the time and I don't have any shoes period that are more comfortable.
&nbsp\\;
If you wear a 10.5 I'll sell you my almost new redwings cheap if you want them.

Ever get a lace caught when coming to a stop?&nbsp\\; I have, don't want to go through that again.&nbsp\\; So I prefer non-laced boots.&nbsp\\; Thanks for the link too...I can't get them to allow me to post with my account.

I have a pair of the 969's and love them.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; I tried a few other brands and nothing felt good, not wide enough for my fat feet.
They feel good for me all day, tried the harley boots which are now being made by wolverine and couldnt stand them, even the wide wasnt wide enough!
