Default uneven front tire wear

I have an 07 softtail custom&nbsp\\; and the front tire is&nbsp\\; wearing&nbsp\\; most on the right side
it does&nbsp\\; have&nbsp\\; 8300 miles on it&nbsp\\; but thought&nbsp\\; I could&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; get another 3000 miles&nbsp\\; out of it&nbsp\\; prior to this
&nbsp\\;
I did&nbsp\\; have&nbsp\\; the&nbsp\\; rear changed&nbsp\\; about 3000 miles ago and&nbsp\\; was told&nbsp\\; that if ti was not installed straight&nbsp\\; this&nbsp\\; could&nbsp\\; cause this
&nbsp\\;
I would appreciate&nbsp\\; any&nbsp\\; feedback

the crown of most roads account for a lot of uneven tire wear.&nbsp\\; they are not level for drainage.

If you take your hands off the bars at cruise speed does the bike track straight down the road?

ORIGINAL: buckshot

The roads I ride do not have much crown and if they do I travel them both ways so I should get even wear on both sides

Thanks
Er, uh, the crown of the road will always be uphill to the left of your bike no matter what direction you go.

I would say your front wheel is out of alignment.

I guess it&nbsp\\; actually&nbsp\\; does maybe&nbsp\\; track a&nbsp\\; little to the right
I have&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; zipped zipper on coat&nbsp\\; or adjusted helmet&nbsp\\; a couple times and the bike&nbsp\\; went to the right just slightly&nbsp\\; I thought&nbsp\\; perhaps&nbsp\\; that&nbsp\\; was because of the crown in the road
&nbsp\\;
The&nbsp\\; tire is wearing&nbsp\\; on the right so I&nbsp\\; would&nbsp\\; not think&nbsp\\; it would be the crown on the road
&nbsp\\;
It could&nbsp\\; be out&nbsp\\; of alighnment I could have&nbsp\\; hit a&nbsp\\; pothole and&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; not have&nbsp\\; realized it
&nbsp\\;
I guess I just&nbsp\\; found it odd that&nbsp\\; the right has really&nbsp\\; worn a&nbsp\\; lot very&nbsp\\; recently
I keep a&nbsp\\; pretty&nbsp\\; close eye&nbsp\\; on the tires and it has worn&nbsp\\; fast
&nbsp\\;
I am&nbsp\\; getting&nbsp\\; it changed tomorrow so I will see what&nbsp\\; the dealer has to say
&nbsp\\;
thanks&nbsp\\; for&nbsp\\; all the info&nbsp\\; will&nbsp\\; let&nbsp\\; ya&nbsp\\; all know&nbsp\\; what&nbsp\\; they&nbsp\\; say

OK, I'll bite. How does a front wheel manage to be out of alignment? What's the fix, turn the handlebars a bit? OK back to serious...
