I have family in Ireland and the UK. They lived through all this, too. Those countries and many, many more were as shocked, horrified and grieved as we were and still are.
Happy B-Day, Dave! The good thing to remember about events like 9/11 is that it brought a nation together, showing our best in the face of the worst.

I will never forget! I remember watching it unfold on TV that morning. I was suppose to be headed to work, but couldn't leave the TV. I was thinking We'd be at war by dinner time.
It's also my youngest sons Birthday,He's 17 today. I remember him coming home saying they ruined his birthday forever. As a father that made me almost as mad as the attacks themselves.
