Poker Run-please explain

Poker Run-please explain
I have noticed dealers in my area sponsering Poker Runs to raise money for needy persons or worthwhile projects. Could somebody explain how it works? It looks like a great way to get out and ride with others for a good cause.
I ran into one today while out cruising. Found out it was sponsered by a HD dealership in a neighboring town. There had to have been 200-300 bikes involved. Heading back home, it looked like most had stopped off at a biker bar/diner to refresh themselves and eat lunch. [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

RE: Poker Run-please explain
A poker run works like this, you stop at five different locations at each location you pick a card at the end of the ride you have a five card hand, usually best and worst hands win.
There are different variations but this is the simplest form.
