Wheels,will they fit?

I am new to this and wondering if anyone knows for sure,I have a 2005 Fatboy,I have the chance to buy the spoked wheels off of a 2008 Roadking.Will they work on my bike,anyone know for sure.Are the axles the same?Any help would be appreciated.In these troubled times moneys real tight,cant afford to make any mistakes....Thanks Mike

what size are you axles?3/4 or 1 inch?

The wheels on a 08 roadking are 1 inch beaerings for 1 inch axles, you have 3/4 inch axles. All you have to do is remove the 1 iunch bearings and put in 3/4 inch bearings and then check to make sure the spacing and centering for the brakes and drive pulleys are the same.
