right now in the portland oregon area a person can pretty much get a deal on a bike if they just take their time at the dealerships...what I mean by that is take your time buying and don't jump on the first deal they give you...they will go lower

Depends on the dealer and the stock levels too. Heck last year in Feb when I bought my new '08 RKC in Black the dealer saw then that the 105 Annv bikes were going to be dogs and offered me one of those in the RKC for $3,500 under MSRP. I declined.
BTW, I just bought a New Ford F150 4x4 on 12/31/08 that the sticker was $34,200.00 and I got it OTD including sales tax, Doc Fee & TT for $20,000. I then bought a New 2009 Corvette Coupe 6.2L 430HP, 6sp manual last Saturday that the sticker was $52,985 but I gave them $38,422 + TTT.....it's sure a buyers market in autos...Harley should take note.
