The exhaust bolt on my 2007 Sportster 883 sheared off and I need to replace it, but it is stuck in my engine block. How can I get this thing out? Any tricks?

I had a broken exhaust bolt on a car engine I was working on once. I was unable to drill into the broken bolt and ended up taking the head to a machine shop.

If you have a machine shop handy, I would suggest wheeling the bike there and seeing if they could get it out.

 

Thanks guys. I tried double nutting it and some penetrating lubricant and vise grips with no luck. I was on the road in NJ from NC, so I needed it taken care of fast. I took it to Liberty HD in Rahway, NJ and they took care of me. The service guys said it took welding a nut on 3 different times and heating up the stud to cherry red to finally get it out. I appreciate all the help.
