Correct.

If they are trying to draw a younger, less traditional crowd, a sportster derived air cooled motor is not the way to go.

The MoCo should probably straighten out their dealers as well. I've experienced numerous cases where after stating that I was intrested in the V-Rod/Buells they had that I was completely ignored until I said the hell with it and left.

The local dealer here doesn't appear to have this issue, however, even when I called in advance I had an hour and a half wait to try out what I was interested because the bikes hadn't been checked out to make sure then the lights worked or batteries were charged.

This cost them a sale, I had financing lined up.

I'm going to ride one the next time they have a demo. I like the look of it and if it fits me I may add it as an alternate to my RKC. Looks like a fun ride!

I rode one Friday (the 13th!) and it runs like an early Buell Lightning. Biggest problem is the 550 lb. weight. It's competition in that class is 150-200 lbs. lighter!
It was still a fun ride-and for the first time in my life I can say (about a Harley) , the brakes were one of the high points! The rev limiter hits too early in the powerband , but it was still a great little test ride. I can't wait to try one with a broken-in motor and scuffed tires. The one I rode had 0 miles on it and the temp was in the 30s.
