hmm...ColorRite shows Vivid Black and Gunmetal Gray for nearly all 2003 HDs

I believe the gunmetal grey was a solid color in 03 it isn't the silver/black anny. paint.

well maybe its time to get that silly color off your bike and have it repainted, they diden`t do that year 03 any justise as a aniversay yr should of been more special, when we see a silver and black we go there go`s a 03

To each their own but I personally think the silver/black is one of the best paint schemes harley has done.

My paint guy tried to source through PPG they aren't allowed to sell that paint period. He couldn't even give the code for it or anything.

I found one it isn't exact but its the closest I've seen. I have it on my bike and there hasn't been one single person that has noticed. Unless I point it out.

If you scroll down past the paint chips you will see a chart that's broken up by year. You want the anniversary silver not the sterling silver.

I put a 200mm rear tire on my 03 Fatboy. There are pics in the first post that show the new paint. There is also a shot of it sitting next to my bro's 03 fatboy. If you go through the thread you will find a close up shot of the tank and the fender for comparison. It's a custom color mix the guy said it took him a couple months to get it right. He says he keeps a control sample and checks every batch he mixes up.

I'm not affiliated with the paint company. Hope this helps.
