bikers in daytona
 

rode up to destanation daytona today and they had just about all there bikes outside, also there are a lot of vendors setting up there tents i seen a large tent for fatbaggers.com. i met a guy from canada quebec how ever you spell it he could not speak english very well but told me he bought his street glide for 32,000 in canada holly sh*t. i did notice alot of highway patrol in the area the place is hopping with bikers.

I was there Saturday. They were just starting to get things set up. A guy at Dayton HD told me they sell more bikes during bike week than most other dealers sell all year, incredible. I also stopped by the J&P store. It was kinda quiet but I guess that's the calm before the storm. Still the best rally IMO.

Stupid question from an Englishman!!!

Me & the Mrs are flying out on Friday for Bike Week. Read alot about "Destination Daytona"
Can someone tell me what it is and where it's at please?

It's a large biker nirvana and most of it's owned by Rossmeyer. Lots of vendors set-up there, concerts and cool stores. Plenty to look at. We were their in Oct. for Biketober and it took us 45 minutes leaving there to go a mile and a half. Bikes everywhere.

Kind of like a motorcycle mall.

Another way to tell you is that it's off Exit 273 on I-95 where I-95 and Rt. 1 meet. You can't miss the place once you take the exit.

Having a J&P store just down the road is pretty darn convenient. Of course, my wallet is emptier...
