I had the Sears yellow jack. My road king wasn't perfectly centered on the jack one time when I lifted it. The jack frame twisted a little bit which prevented me from lowering the bike. Without getting into too many details I ended up having to use a pry bar to get the jack to lower so I could get the bike off of it. That was the last time I used the jack. I sold it on Craigs List and purchased a J&S. I’ve been very happy with the new jack. As others have said, you get what you pay for
