I could see if they were locking the bike up because he was too drunk to drive it home. I've hidden my buddys bike before for the same reason. But you tell them, "It's been taken care of, I'll give you a ride." You don't sit there and throw your hand up and say "I don't know where it is." You get a totally different reaction when you are looking out for someone than when they think you are screwing with them.

somebody hid my bike b/c i was hammered once. I was flipping out (and was a honda) for about 2 Min until by bro said YO. then i knew it was OK. and they took a spark plug wire off s0 when i found it behind the bar and tried to leave it still wouldn't start.
