Selling below MSRP....

No. Since the economy is so bad the dealers have marked the bikes way up to make up the money their losing by not selling as many as they are used to. If you wait too long the price of harleys will at least double if not triple. The prices will only come down when the economy starts working again. Better buy one quick.

Wow Other sheep - you are tough. Gsport- if you pay any more than 1500 off MSRP with no setup and freight, you are getting ripped off. If you can't get that deal, walk out and go to the next dealer.

I'm only seeing discounts on 08' but several of the dealers have now included prep & shipping in the asking price of MSRP.
I know of one dealer who is still adding on the extra's, and bumping the price up as high as possible - and then will not budge.

No on one on here can tell you what will happen price wise unless they live in the same market in OR you do. Otherwise it means nothing what some dealer in Mississippi for example is doing. He may or may not be hurting worse than your area dealers.
Walk in to your dealers and find out is the only way YOU will know.

Black Hills Harley Davidson in Rapid City, SD
MSRP+Freight+Setup.
MOCO webiste says $18.9K for an Electraglide Classic.....Dealer says $22.3K
(When I talked to the salesman, he told me "how do you think they keep the lights on in here, etc.....like that's MY responsibility as a customer....I'm buying a bike, not keeping everyone employed.....the fancy showroom, half a dozen pretty girls selling clothes, etc....that's the owners problem, IMHO)
I think the dealerships are living in a bubble....reality is just past the door leading outside.
The time to buy used is upon you.
