Default Buying a 09 Street Glide !

Well, I have been thinking about selling my 05 Classic and buying a Street Glide. I saw the Rootbeer color and absolutely loved it. Getting a few "add ons" but will finish the deal tomorrow.

It's a little different than traditional black or silver.

So, do you think I will notice that much of a ride quality difference ?

I am really pumped about it..I know I won't be the only one out there with it, but I just look forward to riding it.

HUGE difference in ride - the 09 rides like a sport bike - you will NOT believe it.
BTW- I am serious. I could not be happier with my 09

The general manager at the local dealership is a friend of mine. He had an '06 Street Glide and sold it getting an '09 Street Glide. He told me that he really didn't perceive any difference in the quality of the ride although he did love the 6-speed tranny.

Personally I like the 5 speed, but I look forward to that extra highway gear.

It would of been cheaper for me to paint the bike I have now rather than buy a Rootbeer Glide...but what fun is that I guess.

First, LTNC toyrider. Secondly, you'll notice a big difference. The new frame is sweet, I really like my 07, but noticed a fair amount of comfort/control difference between mine and the few 09's I rode at the shop (I'm still out on sick leave, so I've only been on 3 of the new baggers). Plus with the larger tank and rear tire, it just feels like a bigger, more solid bike..........jmho
