Handlebar's loose???

Hey all, I got some 10" Z bars on my Nightster, and they arent knurled. SO Ive cranked them down as much as I can without strippingthe bolts. When Im ridin though I cant help but worry if the bars are gonna move cuz they dont have knurling. Any advice on what I should do for peace of mind?

A little time with a file or dremel tool can provide just enough roughness so that the clamp really grabs. You'll notice the difference. Do the same with the inside of your clamp. It'll be fine.

You can also cut some strips of aluminum from a soda/beer can and put them between the bar and riser clamp on both sides.
